Client Experience | MCP: Pilot Climate Fresk workshops

,

Established in 2000, MCP is one of the oldest and largest independent alternative asset managers in Asia, offering a global presence with local experience and expertise across a variety of investment strategies. It has offices in Chicago, Hong Kong, Seoul and Tokyo.

Codo conducted for MCP in Tokyo six Climate Fresk workshops – including five in Japanese. The Climate Fresk is a 3-hour workshop that aims to raise awareness and understanding about climate change. By using a 42-card game based on the latest IPCC reports, it gives participants of all levels the opportunity to learn a lot in a very short period.

Guided by Codo’s certified professional facilitator, 40 financial experts, administrative officers and managers of MCP, including company founders, worked together to understand the causes and consequences of climate change. The workshops were also a teambuilding experience, valuable for the company after more than two years of telework under the pandemic.

“As a financial company, we are exposed to the growing trends of ESG investment. Thanks to the Climate Fresk workshops organized by Codo, our teams have been able to better connect their activities in the financial sector, and the fundamental science of climate change. The workshops were also a good opportunity for us to rebuild human connections between employees, after a long period of remote work due to the pandemic.”
