Top message
Since our establishment in 2022, our corporate philosophy has been “to inspire innovative actions by Japanese companies toward a sustainable society and to make their heartbeats resonate around the world”.
At the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) held in 2023, the conference passed a resolution “to accelerate emission reductions towards net zero by 2050, with urgent action in this critical decade”. This is a major achievement towards realizing a decarbonized society. On the other hand, in the same year, the UN warned that we had entered the “era of global boiling,” and average temperatures in Japan have reached their highest in 125 years, leading to reduced agricultural and marine harvests.
Every aspect of society is affected by climate change. Rapid implementation of decarbonization management is critical to mitigate the impacts.
We believe it is our mission to support Japanese companies in improving their positioning within the global community by providing them with internationally acclaimed decarbonization management tools, workshops, and finance expertise.
We are taking on the challenge of building services in line with the changing times, and we sincerely ask for your continued support in this endeavor.
Decarbonization Roadmap
We have set targets for three time-scales: short term, mid-term, and long term.
The base year is set for 2023, the first year in which annual GHG emission measurement became possible after the establishment of the company. Due to our business structure and products, there were no Scope 1 emissions in 2023. As the nature of our business operations are not intended to change, Scope 1 emissions will continue to be zero.
Short-term target (2025 target)
- Reduce Scope 2 emissions by 34.6% (0.5 t-CO2 in total) (compared to 2023)
Mid-term target (2035 target)
- Achieve 100% reduction of Scope 2 emissions (0 t-CO2 in total) (compared to 2023)
- Reduce Scope 3 emissions by 56% (2.9 t-CO2 in total) (compared to 2023)
Long-term target (target for 2050)
- Achieve carbon neutrality in all operations across all scopes
Our roadmap is currently being updated.
Scope 1,2,3 Greenhouse Gas Emissions
The 2023 greenhouse gas inventory was the first emission inventory for our company.
As such, we will use the results of the 2023 inventory as a base year to study and implement reduction measures.

Alignment of future emission projections with our targets (Scope 1, 2)
As a measure to reduce Scope 2 emissions, which account for 100% of our company’s emissions, we are planning to “move to 100% renewable energy office buildings” by 2030.However, we have estimated that our cumulative emissions will exceed the SBT 1.5 degree target (as of 2030) by 0.51 t-CO2 and our original target by 1.01 t-CO2 (as of 2035).
Regarding excess emissions, we will (1) purchase “I-REC” Exchangeable Energy Attribute Certificates, (2) move ahead with the relocation to 100% renewable energy office buildings, (3) request the current building management companies to switch to a renewable energy-derived electricity, and (4) consider additional other measures.
